So Michelle and I got away for a couple of days to give her a break from work and to celebrate our nations Independence. This morning in the room all of a sudden she blurted out, ‘O know...I’m at 1%’. Of course that’s code for ‘my phones about dead’. At least I think that’s what she meant....

What happens almost daily to our phones can also happen to our lives! Work, ministry, family, events and schedules have a way of running us down and eventually out. I often hear folks say, ‘Well I’d rather burn out than rust out’. That may sound good but either way you’re still out.

The way a follower of Jesus recharges is by worshipping, praying, attending church and reading God’s Word and we must keep on being filled with the Holy Spirit. The reason Paul said to keep on being filled is because we keep on leaking!

As you read Eph 5 :18 and following you’ll see that this filling will effect your worship life, your wedded life, your work life and your war life. So, it’s not just important, it’s imperative we stay at 100% for Jesus.

Are you running low? Are you at 1%? Take some time today or this weekend and get your spiritual batteries charged.

Have a blessed day.
